The short version

Unuploaded converts files in your browser and does not upload them for server-side processing. The site has no accounts or cookies, does not use local storage, and does not sell data. The hosting and email sections below describe the technical information that page requests and emails involve.

Files

The page reads selected files into browser memory, converts them locally and offers downloads. Unuploaded does not send those files to its operator or a conversion server. Results are held in tab memory while the page is open; downloaded files remain where you save them. Image conversions that redraw pixels through a canvas do not copy the original EXIF block, including GPS location. The encoder may add its own format metadata. Other tools handle metadata differently, and each tool's limits say how. The methodology page describes file handling and ways to check network activity.

Offline cache

To make the tools work offline, a service worker stores the site's own pages and code (including the HEIC decoder) in your browser's cache on your device. You can clear it through your browser settings at any time. It never stores your files.

Hosting and server logs

Cloudflare Pages serves the site and processes standard technical data, including IP address, user agent and requested URL, to deliver pages and protect against abuse. This is subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy. Those requests do not contain the files you convert. This site runs no analytics.

Advertising

This site shows no ads and sets no ad cookies.

Email

If you email us, we use your address solely to reply and do not add you to a mailing list. Please describe the problem without attaching your files.

Children

The site is a general-audience utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Hosting requests and voluntary email involve the information described above.
