un·up·load·ed, adj. Of a file: changed without ever leaving its device.

Unuploaded is a set of file converters that run in your browser. As the name says, your files are not uploaded: decoding, conversion and encoding all take place in the tab on your device. The site serves static pages and code and has no server-side converter.

Each tool has a network meter. The methodology page explains what it measures and how to check requests with your browser's own tools. Some converters download an extra decoder or encoder; for those, complete one conversion online before repeating the check offline.

There are no accounts, sign-ups, email-capture forms, artificial conversion limits or cookies. Your browser caches the site's code for offline use. It does not cache the files you convert.
